Michael’s niche: being a licensed architect and contractor

Michael Marchetti founded The Marchetti Company in 1992 after earning licenses in both architecture and general contracting. He began his career in architecture by interning with a Nashville based architecture firm prior to starting his own company. His vast architectural and contracting experience includes commercial work, but his primary focus and passion has been residential architecture, including projects located in states throughout the south.

Michael prides himself on creating designs which take advantage of his diverse education ranging from art and architecture to engineering. Architecture is a field which incorporates many disciplines from the artistic to the practical. His ability to create beautiful designs, both new residences and additions/renovations that have a timeless aesthetic, while being functional for everyday living as well as entertaining, is apparent in his vast array of completed works. With his knowledge of construction and cost he has a unique ability to create efficient designs that give the client all the spaces they require without compromising flow, quality and aesthetics.

The design process is a collaborative effort, and Michael stresses on every project no matter how large or small, to create a team approach where the owner, architect, interior designer and builder produce the most beautiful, efficient and cost effective design that achieves all the client’s wishes and needs.
